Life with Chronic illnesses while also being a parent and a wife and how all the little things turn into big things , so it all matters! One kid One husband , we live with my brother in law, three dogs, three cats…. Insanity. Also I may speak about Snickerdoodle who is my friend from middle school’s daughter, Also Princess P who I had the honor to watch be born, She is my daughter by default, no way to not instantly love after seeing that.

I worked in Early childhood education, which is where my education is. I have also worked in Misdemeanor Probation as well. I have experience as a teacher and as a parent, so I get it. Working full time and keeping house and being a parent became too much about two years ago. I have been trying to find my way back to me since then.

I have many diagnosis’s because I am special like that. Obsessive Compulsive disorder, attention deficit  Fibromyalgia, Myiofascial Pain syndrome, Chronic Fatigue, Raynauds, Degenerative discs, bulging discs, herniated discs, stenosis, facet hypertrophy, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (which also comes with some absorption issues when it comes to nutrients) oh and least we forget Super ventricular Tachycardia. Its all just awesome…so incredibly awesome. So I found writing really helps me. I hope it helps you as well.

I have been honored for some of my writing to be published by Mamalode and Great Moments In Parenting

  1. Hey to an inspiring blogger! I wanted to let you know that I’ve nominated you for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award. Amanda and Katie do not want you to feel obligated to go through the acceptance steps, as there are a few steps and we understand how crazy things get in life. We were eager to share your blog with our readers because we love it so much and wanted them to see your message, too. However, if you’re interested in accepting the award, the details are here:

  2. I have LITERALLY felt your pain. Lupus, RA, MCTD, hypothyroidism, pericarditis, Raynaud’s, etc. I’m sorry you have to go through that and that your children see their mom in pain. But, you might want to check into functional medicine and get a good gastro. They can help treat intestinal infections you may have and help you change your diet to prevent inflammation. I did that 2 1/2 yrs ago and it completely got rid of all my autoimmune issues. I was able to get off meds. And I feel NORMAL. My ANA went from 1:1280 to 1:320 after just the first week of treatment. Mine took about 5 weeks. I was willing to try anything. I figured this couldn’t hurt. If it didn’t work, I would just continue on my meds as I had been doing for years. But it DID work. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Read some stuff on my blog if you want to get a little more info on what I did and how it helped. I hope you feel better!

  3. You have a very inspiring blog for us who have chronic illnesses. I have bipolar, ADD, depression, anxiety, insomnia, Fibromyalgia, and Chronic Fatigue. In May of this year I was diagnosed with colorectal or rectal cancer. I just started up my blog again but yours is great.

  4. Hi! I found you on the SITS thread and I’m glad I did. I also have numerous diagnoses, mental and physical, and have kids and blog! So we’re basically the same person.

  5. Hello from a fellow chronic illness owner! RA and ADHD here (and probably a bit of ODD if I’m being honest…lol).
I’m glad to have found you – through the TToT, I think – and look forward to reading more here. Nice to find someone in similar circumstances who just plain old “gets it.”

  6. Thank you for speaking openly about your struggles. I have several chronic conditions as well (and I am pretty sure I have some that are still to be diagnosed). It’s hard. But it helps to hear of others facing similar difficulties. I believe just in the sharing we are all buoyed up. Thanks for lifting me and others!
