Somehow I only thought about doing this post yesterday. So Ten Things Of Thankful Blog hop is going on and here is mine.
Ten things…ten things that I am thankful for. …….
Sleeping in is definitely high on my list today. I didn’t get out of bed until after nine thirty. The kid actually fed herself and kept quite. Unheard of.
Thankful that I caught it early that I had missed two doses of my prozac.
Thankful that even though I am utterly and completely exhausted I managed four days of work in a row. It is really still quite hard for me to do this but, I did it. I also made my four and half mile walk twice this week too. So very thankful I was able to sleep in this morning.
Thankful that I pushed through last night and went to the store. This was how I was able to sleep in. There was plenty of food for the kid to pick from. Thankful we had the money to do so as well.
Thankful for a hubby that works so hard for us.
Thankful for friends who take such good care of our kid while we are working.
Thankful we are getting a new power cord for the laptop this weekend. I am in serious withdrawal at home.
Thankful that I feel somewhat able to sit at the computer desk to write this post.
Lastly, I think this might be an extra, I am so thankful to be part of #1000speak and am simply blown away by the posts I have read thus far.
Sleep is wonderful! Glad you were able to sleep in.

Sleeping in is grand – whether you need it or just want it, it’s a lovely thing.
These are wonderful things, Erin. Enjoy the weekend, get lots of rest, and have a great week ahead!

#1000 Speak posts were extremely personal and emotional this week. It’s wonderful to be a part of that. I slept in until 8:30 this morning – quite unusual for me. It might be the allergy meds I took. Have a good week, Erin. Hope the laptop is humming by next week’s post.

4.5 mile walk?? ayiiee! (there was a time I was trying to get in the habit of a 2 mile walk… but twice that? muy impressivo!)
sleeping in can be good… weekends are the time, if I manage to (also the only night (Saturday) that I tend to sleep straight through)
good listation!

I have taken two years to work up to four miles and then quickly pushed it to four and half comparatively. Sleep is a rather elusive thing for me.

I can absolutely imagine how exhausting work can be, if one still has a family to take care of and a house full of chores. The first day I came home from work after my last extended maternity leave, I called my friend to tell her about it, still feeling pretty fit, and as soon as I hung up, I crashed and took the baby for a nap 🙂 I’m also glad that your kid is well taken care of while you’re working. Always a big worry off a parent’s mind! Enjoy your weekend!

It is so stressful when you are not completely happy with the childcare you have your kid in. Feeling very lucky to have such great friends. I thought I was doing so much better since I quit working four years ago. I am definetely better than I was but wowzer… weeks like this tell me how much farther I have to go to get back to full time if I can ever do that.

it was rough. I feel somewhat recovered and have two more days to recover some more before working again.

Well, that’s cautiously good but it sounds like you need more recovery time. ACK! I know you know this, but keep going with the meds. To my detriment I know what it’s like to not to.

oh yes. no worries. I like my happy pills and I have in the past gone off them and I don’t like that person very much. She can stay hidden. I am planning on early bedtimes tonight and tomorrow to kind of help balance it all. that precarious balancing act we do ya know.

YUP! I could do with some earlier nights. ACK! That’s next on my list to sort out and get under control.

Ohhh, sweet sleep can be so rejuvenating! I hope this week finds you feeling better. It’s a wonderful day when you realize your child is capable of fending for herself, isn’t it?

So glad you’ve got your computer back, charged up. Smartphones are wonderful, but you need a full keyboard sometimes.

Well, la-di-da, Ms. Got to Sleep In. I got 5 1/2 hrs of uninterrupted sleep last night AND had a Ms. So-n-So and family come over and hang with the girls so I could go grocery shopping and the girls could get their homework done. I think I had one of the best days I have had in weeks! Thanks sweetie!
